The Groundworks team were handed a space in the middle of an industrial space in Chiswick to transform into a community workspace and they approached me to brand their new venture.

The brand seeks to replicate the user’s journey through the space to extend the welcome and to create a sense of harmony between the brand and the space. The photography style of the space mirrors the birdseye view from when they enter juxtaposed by the eye to eye style for portraits to emphasise the welcome of the comunity when you land on the ground floor. The typography style relies on a grid system that has a welter weight to anchor the phrase and emulate the thick black industrial beams layered in the space.
